SomaShrooms™ redefines wellness with carefully crafted functional mushroom supplements. Founded by Himani Garg, a passionate Uttrakhand Girl, an E&C Engineer and Gold Medalist Management Graduate from SP Jain SGM, Mumbai, who envisioned wellness as her Life Goal. She also accomplished a project with University of California, Berkley, on Information Technology. Born from a mother’s quest for purity and purpose, SomaShrooms™ grows, extracts, and formulates every product from spore to supplement to support your brain, gut, immunity, performance — naturally.

Soma in Vedic Culture

Why the name Soma?

The name SOMA carries a profound connection to Vedic culture and the ancient traditions of India. In the Rigveda, Soma is praised as the lord of plants and forests; the king of rivers and earth; and the father of the gods. It has been described as both a god and a sacred, energizing plant. It was consumed by priests during rituals to invoke spiritual ecstasy and divine connection, believed to grant immortality and enhance cognition. Lord Krishna himself mentioned the purification power of the Soma juice in Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 9 verse 20.
